Securing a major aircraft purchase for a leading defense contractor

Challenge

When a defense contractor sought to ensure the purchase of at least seven advanced military aircraft by the federal government, they enlisted the help of Roberti Global.

Action

Developed an aggressive education and lobbying campaign for a core group of bipartisan lawmakers on the House and Senate Appropriations and Armed Services Committees that highlighted (1) the military’s need for the aircraft; and (2) improvements to the airframe that allow it to lift more weight and fly at higher altitudes and in extreme temperatures.

Results

In addition to securing the acquisition of the seven aircraft, Roberti Global was able to increase the total number of airframes purchased by the federal government to nine.
